Meet Liz Raymond
Liz has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and serves as the executive assistant for her husband, John, in all the entities under The Raymond Collective umbrella. She is the office manager for Disciple's Cross and The Bridge Radio, on staff at Lakeside Christian Academy and leads worship at New Horizon Church. She loves her two granddaughters, Emma and Eliza.

Personal Biography

Liz was born in Belvedere, Illinois, and her story began with a unique and beautiful chapter of adoption. As the daughter of a German immigrant mother who courageously raised six children, Liz's early life was shaped by strength and resilience. Her adoption journey took a meaningful turn when she was fostered by a loving family who eventually became her forever home, while she maintained contact with her biological family. This path led Liz to Louisiana, where she would eventually meet her husband, John. Together, they have raised three wonderful children, sharing a life filled with love, faith, and devotion. Liz’s heart is most full when she is with her two granddaughters, cherishing every opportunity to spend time with them. In her personal life, she is passionate about domestic hobbies, such as interior design and cooking, and she enjoys being a dedicated wife, actively supporting John's entrepreneurial and ministerial endeavors.
Academic Background​
Liz’s academic journey is marked by a love for adventure, learning, and the arts. During her sophomore year of high school, she attended school at the American Embassy in India, where she not only gained a global perspective but also discovered her love for the arts by playing the lead role in the school play, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." Passionate about music from an early age, Liz was deeply involved in the school band and played multiple instruments, reflecting her diverse talents and creativity. Liz’s pursuit of education continued at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where her adoptive father was a professor. It was there she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, combining her creative talents with her academic interests.
Professional Career
Liz’s professional journey is as diverse as her personal story. She began her career as a certified property manager for Fairfield Property Management in California, where she worked full-time for nearly a decade, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. In the 1990s, Liz began her journey into motherhood, a role that took precedence in her life and shaped her future endeavors. While raising her children, she worked in Northlake Christian School’s preschool office, a role that allowed her to balance her professional life with her family responsibilities. Though not a professional achievement, Liz had the esteemed honor of winning 2nd place in a conference-wide game of Rock, Paper Scissors with over 1,000 contestants! (Pictured above.)
Later, Liz transitioned into full-time ministry alongside her husband, John, where she served in various leadership and administrative roles. Her dedication to ministry has been a central theme in her career, allowing her to serve her community with passion and purpose. Liz continues to work part-time with Lakeside Christian Academy, supporting the educational mission of the school. Her involvement in the Slidell Republican Women’s Club and her role as a keyboardist and vocalist on the worship team demonstrate her commitment to her community and faith.
An important part of Liz's life is her contribution to the Women's Ministry and Small Groups at New Horizon Church. She is a diligent student, a faithful teacher, and a thoughtful friend and mentor. Throughout her career, Liz has shown a remarkable ability to adapt and thrive in diverse roles, from property management to education and ministry, all while maintaining her role as a dedicated wife and mother. Her journey reflects a life of service, creativity, and unwavering faith, enriched by her deep love for family and ministry.
